Project Description

This study evaluated the HVA-IB Pilot Project funded by SNV under support from IFAD. The major objective was to undertake impact evaluation in Surkhet and Jumla districts to ascertain the level to which the project attained its goals. The project aimed to promote the production of organic apple and high value base organic vegetables in Jumla and Chiuri in Surkhet by involving poor and marginalized community groups. Findings confirmed the project's success in connecting poor households to markets and enhancing profitability.

Gathering substantive information to ascertain goal attainment; criteria included relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, and impact.
